Coconut flakes contain the following vitamins and minerals: iron, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, iodine, vitamins B1, B2, B6, E and folic acid [1 to 3]. Furthermore, grated coconut is very rich in fiber [2], which pleases our digestive tract very much.
Description:
Our organic coconut flakes have a very nutty, aromatic taste and are pleasantly light. The color of the rasps is white to light yellow. Desiccated coconut contains the same nutrients and vital substances as fresh coconut, only in a concentrated form.
Origin and manufacture:
We source our organic grated coconut from Sri Lanka. In Sri Lanka, these fruits, some of which are very large, grow in organically certified areas. The organic farmers living there cultivate the surrounding area and thus improve our and their own living conditions by working traditionally and in harmony with nature. After harvesting, the coconut is opened, the coconut milk removed and the shell removed. They are then gently dried and then grated. The processing takes place with careful manual work and under high hygienic conditions. This ensures that the dried organic Fairtrade coconut flakes are of very good quality.
Purity:
In Austria, the grated coconut is pressure treated and checked several times. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests. Organic ingredients: coconut flakes medium-sized
