Description:
Our organic pumpkin powder consists of 100% ground dried pumpkin pieces. It has a very natural orange color and a very intense taste and smell. You can smell nature and you will easily tell the difference from lower quality products. The powder is very easy to pour and is therefore very suitable for further processing.
Origin and manufacture:
We source our organic Fairtrade pumpkin powder exclusively from Uzbekistan/ Samarkand. The cultivation areas are largely organic and FAIRTRADE certified and are managed by the FAIRTRADE farmers who live there. The farmers belong to a large Fairtrade community made up of 3 groups, Dustkul Bogi, Turkiston Gulba and Turob Bobo. They include around 1,000 individual farmers, along with their families. Thanks to the cooperation with Fairtrade, the farmers can offer their families a secure income and their children a new perspective.
After harvesting, the pumpkins are cut open, cored, cut into pieces and then gently dried with the help of the sun. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method that is extremely gentle on the product. Finally, the dried pumpkin pieces are ground into a very fine powder.
Purity:
In Austria, the pumpkin powder is pressure tested and checked several times. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.

Notice: Our organic pumpkin powder is a purely natural product and consists of 100% pumpkin without any release agents. The pumpkin powder can therefore clump together very easily, but can be broken up with your hands or with a machine.
