The dye that makes the melon appear so beautifully red is one of the antioxidants and these in turn have the properties of rendering free radicals harmless.

In addition, dried melons contain the same nutrients as fresh melons, only in a more concentrated form. Especially in times when the body needs more vital substances, or a sufficient supply is not always guaranteed, we recommend dried melons or similar dried fruits.
Our organic Fairtrade watermelons have the typical taste of a watermelon, are very sweet, fruity and aromatic and have soft melon strips. They are sticky and the flesh is light to dark orange.
Origin and manufacture: We source our organic Fairtrade watermelons exclusively from Uzbekistan. The area is largely organic and FAIRTRADE certified and is farmed by the FAIRTRADE farmers who live there. The farmers belong to a large Fairtrade community, which consists of 3 Groups composed, Dustkul Bogi, Turkiston Gulba and Turob Bobo. They include around 1000 individual farmers, along with their families. Thanks to the cooperation with Fairtrade, the farmers can offer their families a secure income and their children a new perspective.
After harvesting, the melons are washed, the skin is removed, the seeds removed, cut into pieces and then gently dried with the help of the sun. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method that is extremely gentle on the product.
Purity: In Austria, the watermelons are pressure treated and checked several times. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
