Useful information: The seeds of the mesquite plant are rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc as well as the essential amino acid lysine.

Among other things, lysine supports cell division and cell growth in our body. It helps with viral infections and regulates blood lipid levels and high blood pressure.

The graceful mesquite tree is a member of the legume family and is native to the arid coastal areas of South America. Its beans have been traditionally dried and processed into flour for centuries. The flour serves as a basis for jellies and as a spice.

Description: Our sweet organic mesquite powder is carefully made from the seeds/beans of the mesquite tree. Our powder is completely natural and pure. The taste of the powder is perceived differently and varies from slightly sweet to caramel-like. The light mesquite powder is very finely powdered and ideal for further processing.

Origin and manufacture: We source our organic mesquite powder from Peru. The areas in which the trees grow are largely organic certified. After harvesting, the legumes are opened, the seeds removed and dried. The seeds are only ground into powder after a new inspection. The processing is done carefully by hand and under high hygienic conditions, this ensures that our organic mesquite powder is of very good quality.

Purity: Here in Austria, the mesquite powder is pressure treated and checked several times. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
