Coconut oil consists mainly of saturated fatty acids, which have very good baking and cooking properties. If the oil is not filtered and produced gently (as with our coconut oil), then the oil still contains traces of magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium, copper, iron, phosphorus, amino acids and vitamin E [1].

Description:

Our coconut oil is an extra virgin oil made from the best grated coconut and bottled in Austria. We only use organic Fairtrade coke flakes/ coconut flakes that have been checked several times before. The result is a very fine coconut oil, which contains a very intense coconut note. Our coconut oil can be used to produce and prepare various dishes.

Origin and drying:

We source our organic Fairtrade coconut chips / desiccated coconut directly from Sri Lanka. The area in Sri Lanka is largely organic / FAIRTRADE certified and is farmed by the FAIRTRADE farmers who live there. The farmers belong to one of the two Fairtrade groups SOFA or MOPA. Thanks to the cooperation with Fairtrade, the farmers can earn their livelihood securely and independently. Projects such as clean drinking water, school materials for the children and educational projects can be paid for with the Fairtrade premium. Arrived in Austria, the coconut oil, in raw food quality, is produced with great attention to detail and very gently.
