The organic lentils are carefully cultivated and harvested under the requirements of organic farming. The advantages of Austrian lentils are obvious! Short transport routes, with an associated positive C02 environmental balance, promotion and appreciation of local and regional products, support of Austrian farmers and their agriculture and preservation of the diversity of nature. Due to strict quality requirements and very close relationships with our farmers, we can guarantee the purity of our lentil fiber meal!
After harvesting, our organic lentils go through several cleaning steps, which ensure that the lentils are very pure. Only when the lentils meet the high quality standards do we gently process them into roughage flour.
Our standard processes also include pressure disinfestation. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
