Shiitake mushrooms were once considered so valuable that they were given as gifts to emperors and kings.

Our organic shiitake mushroom pieces are approx. 4-7 mm in size and sorted and cut by hand. The bouquet/aroma is very intense, complex and the umami taste is very pronounced. The shiitake mushroom pieces are ideal for exclusive organic cuisine and suitable for further processing.
Origin and manufacture:
We obtain our organic shiitake mushroom pieces from an organic breeding region. The Shiitake mushrooms grow on an optimal breeding ground. The natural environment is imitated very well. Finely chopped pieces of bark are distributed as a breeding ground, providing the nutrient base for the mushrooms.
After being harvested by hand, the shiitake are cleaned, carefully cut into pieces and air-dried. The individual work steps are carried out with great attention to detail and still very traditionally. This has a very positive effect on the mushrooms.
Purity:
In Austria, the shiitake mushrooms are pressure treated and checked several times. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
