Description:
Organic banana coins (slices) are very fruity and aromatic in taste and very sweet. The bananas are pale to dark beige in color. Dried Banana Coins may darken. This does not affect their quality - on the contrary - it is proof of quality as it shows that the bananas have not been treated with sulphur.
Dried fruits should be stored at temperatures from +2 to +6 degrees Celsius, which also slows down the darkening process. The texture of the fruit is satisfyingly soft, which makes it ideal for cooking and using with other foods, as the pieces are separate and don't stick together easily.
Origin and production:
We source our organic banana coins from Sri Lanka. Large parts of the region are certified for organic cultivation and are cultivated by the farmers who live there.
After harvesting, the banana peel is removed and the fruit is cut into pieces. The slices are then carefully dried and sorted by hand. The processing steps are carefully carried out by hand under extremely hygienic conditions. This guarantees the high quality of the dried organic bananas.

The baby bananas are pressure treated in Austria. During the printing process, the combination of pressure and time ensures that the product is completely pest-free.
