Description: Nashi, a mixture between apple and pear. It is more closely related to pears, which is also confirmed by its Japanese name "Nashi", because Nashi means pear.
The organic Nashi pears have an intense, aromatic pear taste. The flesh is more juicy than normal pears. In shape they are more similar to the apple.
Our organic Nashi pears are continuous wedges, with no remains and no core residues, but with the skin. In terms of taste, they have an intense pear taste, they are very fruity, slightly strong and sweet. The colors vary with the skin and the pulp. Inside the Nashi pears are yellow to beige and outside they are orange to dark red. They are soft or soft in consistency, although the shell is a little stronger.
In our dried nashi pears are the same nutrient as contained in fresh Nashi pears, only in concentrated form, so dried fruits are essential for a balanced diet.
Origin and manufacture: We source our organic Nashi pears exclusively from Uzbekistan. The area is largely certified organic and is cultivated by the organic farmers living there. The farmers in this region have been working according to organic cultivation criteria for many years and are proud of their contribution to the preservation of nature.
After the harvest, the Nashi pears are washed, pitted, cut into uniform columns and then gently dried with the help of the sun. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method that is extremely gentle on the product.
The Nashi pears are pressure treated in Austria. With pressure removal, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
