From a botanical point of view, buckwheat belongs to the knotweed family and has been used as an important and valuable food since time immemorial. We have reintroduced the cultivation of organic buckwheat on a large scale in Austria and have been promoting the cultivation of organic buckwheat in Austria for years. By purchasing this traditional organic product, you support and promote Austrian organic agriculture and environmental protection.
The original grain is used like a grain, but it is not a real grain, but a so-called pseudo-grain. In addition, buckwheat does not contain gluten and can therefore be used in a low-gluten and gluten-free diet if it has been tested for gluten beforehand!

Our buckwheat flour has been carefully ground and tested several times for gluten. To produce the flour, we only use our buckwheat, which has been cleaned several times. The taste of the flour is strong, nutty and aromatic. The flour is very fine. Buckwheat flour baked goods are dark in color.

Our organic buckwheat goes through several different cleaning steps after harvest. During our subsequent multiple cleaning in the laser cleaning system, the grains are checked individually in order to rule out any foreign contamination. Only then are the buckwheat kernels ground in a gluten-free system.
