Pistachios mainly contain vitamins B1, B6, manganese, phosphorus, magnesium and iron . A vitamin B1 deficiency has a mental effect, because you are more irritated and unbalanced. The body needs vitamin B6 for a well-functioning protein metabolism and iron for better performance.
Pistachios contain a very high antioxidant capacity of 7675 µmol TE (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity).
By consuming foods rich in antioxidants, the body's defense mechanism can be strengthened and an overproduction of free radicals can be balanced out. An ORAC daily requirement between 5000 and 7000 is recommended.4
In general, nuts have been shown to lower the cholesterol level in the blood due to their polyunsaturated fatty acids, stabilize the blood sugar level, support the blood vessels, reduce the risk of stomach and prostate cancer and heart attacks and inhibit inflammatory reactions.2

The matching strong, nutty and characteristic taste, as well as the very good quality, are another plus of our pistachio kernels. The pistachios are of course peel-free, vegan and gently dried.
Pistachios are a very good source of minerals, vitamins and also antioxidants. The whole power of nature is found in nuts growing in the wild. They are therefore ideally suited for a balanced, varied and healthy diet.
Origin: We source our wild green organic pistachios exclusively from Uzbekistan. Only from there can we be sure that the quality will meet our high standards.
The pistachios ripen on wild trees in Sicily. The area is largely certified organic and is cultivated by the farmers who live there. The farmers in this region have been working according to organic cultivation criteria for many years and are very proud of their contribution to the preservation of nature.
Harvest and drying: When the ripe outer shell of the pistachio fruit turns pink and it opens a crack so that you can see the actual nut inside, only then are the pistachios gently harvested. After the careful harvest, the pistachio shell is removed, the skin from the pistachio core is also removed (blanched) and finally the green core is gently dried with the help of the sun. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method that is extremely gentle on the product.
Purity: Once in Austria, the pistachios are made pressure treated and laser cleaned as standard. With pressure removal, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests. During the subsequent multiple cleaning in the laser cleaning system, the pistachios are checked individually to rule out any foreign contamination.
