Description: Our organic red maca powder is carefully made from the tubers of the maca plant. Our powder is completely natural and pure. The taste of the powder is perceived differently and varies from slightly sweet to caramel-like, with a hint of vegetable flavor. The light maca powder is very finely powdered and ideal for further processing.
The color designation "red" means that the original tuber was red/reddish, however the powder is beige to light brown.
Origin and manufacture: We get our red organic maca powder from Peru. The areas in which the Maca plants grow are largely organic certified. After harvesting, the red tubers are carefully cleaned, crushed and then dried with the help of the sun. The tubers are only ground into powder after a renewed inspection. The processing is done carefully by hand and under high hygienic conditions, this ensures that our organic maca powder is of very good quality.
Purity: Here in Austria, the maca powder is pressure treated and checked several times. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
