Vital substances: Regular consumption of almond products can have a positive effect on health, because almonds have been shown to lower the cholesterol level in the blood due to their polyunsaturated fatty acids, stabilize / lower blood pressure and inhibit inflammatory reactions. Almonds are also characterized by a high content of B vitamins, vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus and manganese. Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It protects our body from harmful oxidations, from free radicals and it stabilizes the cell membranes. Furthermore, almonds help supply the body with calcium, iron, potassium and zinc.1-3 Almonds contain an antioxidant capacity of 4454 µmol TE (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity). By consuming foods rich in antioxidants, the body's defense mechanism can be strengthened and an overproduction of free radicals can be balanced out. An ORAC daily requirement between 5000 and 7000 is recommended.4 Almond products are therefore ideally suited for a balanced, healthy diet.
Description: Our natural almond butter is only made from whole organic Sicilian almonds, the queens among the almonds. The taste is therefore very unique, strong and intense. The color of the almond butter is dark - like that of whole almonds and the shell parts are still recognizable as very small pieces. The almond butter is creamy and can be used very well in various dishes and drinks. It gives your creations a very pleasant and strong almond taste.
Origin: We source our organic almonds for our almond butter exclusively from the Damiano company in Sicily. We have been working closely with Damiano for a long time and we appreciate each other's very good quality. The almond products from Sicily complement our extensive, Uzbek-oriented nut range very well in taste and quality. The almonds come from the island of Sicily. There they are harvested, gutted, sorted and gently dried. Once in Austria, the almonds are used to make the strong almond butter with a lot of love.Source:
